Sierra and Will’s Honeymoon Session | Destination Photographer

We absolutely loved photographing Sierra and Will’s Jamaican honeymoon session! Sierra and Will were married at home in Kentucky and they decided to honeymoon in Jamaica at Couples Tower Isle. We were at the resort to shoot a destination wedding. We met by the pool and immediately bonded over our love of Jamaica – and how impressed Sierra and I were with the delicious gluten-free options at the resort. Trevor and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary that same week so knew we wanted to offer a honeymoon session for Sierra and Will. We decided to capture their honeymoon session on the beach at sunset. Having photographed many couples all over Jamaica, Trevor and I knew the perfect spot to capture the love (perks to being a destination photographer)!

Sierra and Will’s Honeymoon Session

Before our private dinners, we braved being blown over as we started Sierra and Will’s honeymoon session along the beautiful coast of Jamaica. Jamaica is always breezy; in fact, the closer you get to the coast, the windier it gets… but the night of our session was wind like we had never experienced before! Instead of letting that ruin the mood, we used the wind to add to the movement in their photos. Will wasn’t used to being in front of the camera, but once we got into their session, he relaxed. Sierra and Will became pros, comfortable taking direction from Trevor and I. Their session was all about love and fun – laughing every time a gust of wind threatened to knock us off balance!

Sierra and Will opened up even more during their quick Jamaican honeymoon session, by cuddling and kissing. We talked about their beautiful wedding, family, Sierra applying to PA school, and their home in Kentucky. Sierra and Will reminded Trevor and I so much of ourselves when we were first married! They’re genuinely kind and caring people. It was so sweet of them to share their honeymoon with us so we could capture memories for them. By the end of it, Will was blown away by how much fun the session was! Congrats Sierra and Will! 

After Sierra and Will’s fabulous golden-hour honeymoon session, we went our separate ways to enjoy dinner. As we dined, the wind literally blew our glasses of champagne over! It was one of the windiest Jamaican evenings Trevor and I ever experienced!
