As your wedding day gets closer, we’ll be checking in to see what we can help with, and sending you a couple of questionnaires to make sure your wedding photos and film are everything you’ve ever dreamed of. We’ll take care of the details - no need to stress!
We arrive at your resort two days prior to your wedding and stay for 4 nights. You have access to us the entire time. While we’re with you, we get to know you two better, bond with your friends, and your family, and ensure you have the.most.beautiful day EVER. We'll send you some sneak peeks before we fly home, and not long after that, your whole wedding gallery will be ready for download.

I’m the owner and lead photographer here at Sara June. I’ve been photographing weddings for over 5 years but have had a love for photography since my days as a 4-H kid (over 2 decades ago), showing my portraits at our county fair and raking in the blue ribbons. I’ve been married to my hunk of a husband (oh, heyyy Trev) since 2011 and we’ve been traveling together to find the best beaches the Caribbean offers ever since.
My favorite destination weddings are those that are a bit more intimate - you know, the ones where everyone may not know each other when you all arrive but by the end of the welcome dinner, it all feels like one big happy group of friends. If you made me pick my favorite Caribbean islands, I’d for sure list Jamaica, St. Lucia, USVI, and Turks & Caicos.
I’m totally convinced that destination weddings are the best way to get married: an entire weekend spent enjoying sandy blue waters, lush tropical gardens, surrounded by your favorite humans ever. Heck yes!
Oh hey, I’m Sara.
I’m the lead videographer here at Sara June - named after my wife who is the photography genius here (fun fact: her middle name ISN’T June). I’m also the more laid back and chill half of our duo. I prefer to sit back and capture your authentic wedding moments as they happen.
You probably wouldn’t guess that I can make a mean old fashioned (brandy, sweet) or that I am the biggest fan of couples who do a first look. Sara and I did one when we got married in 2011 and I teared up when I saw her for our first look AND when she walked down the aisle toward me… so I love filming them for our couples, too!
I joined the Sara June team officially in 2021 - prior to that I was the biggest SJP cheerleader you could ever find. Now, I get to create stunning films for couples who are married in the most beautiful of places, alongside my wife.

Yes, all of our full wedding packages include a second shooter - or, you can switch the second photographer for a videographer to capture your day in motion!
Personally, we think that if you’re going to spend thousands on wedding photography, you should protect that investment with some gorgeous printed goods. We know all too well how easy it is for memory cards and hard drives of photos to sit in drawers or boxes, waiting to be printed off, and we don’t want your wedding photos to suffer that same fate. Albums are an option to add to your custom destination wedding photography collection.
Absolutely! We're already looking forward to it! We can set up a Zoom meeting or FaceTime call when you're ready.
Turnaround time for weddings is approximately 3-4 weeks but you'll see some sneak peeks before that!
You can secure your wedding date with a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer. That retainer will be applied towards your balance. The remaining balance will be split into one or two payments due no less than a month before your big day.

Good question! We like to schedule our flights to arrive at the destination two days prior to your wedding day. This gives us a day to scout out locations for your portraits and is an extra buffer in case of travel-related delays. We reserve the day after your wedding for any additional portrait sessions you wish to have and then work on securing all of our digital files to prepare to travel back home. We will fly out two days after your wedding, unless otherwise arranged.

Nope! Our wedding collections are easily customized for your budget and needs - but they're also all inclusive (meaning, we don't charge you for travel!) so you don't have to worry about us tacking on extra fees and surprising you.

Not necessarily. Typically hiring photographers from your wedding location is not only more expensive but riskier in terms of receiving your images. Past clients have decided against hiring foreign photographers for a couple of reasons. It is not only harder to coordinate with them about the details of your wedding day but also if you were to have any questions about your images, rather than having to deal with a prolonged and inconvenient correspondence, you could simply just come directly to us for assistance.
