Wedding photographer with a knack for picture perfect details and a heart that beats for travel and adventure.
You’re engaged, you’ve decided on a destination wedding, and you’re working through the details…. But you haven’t asked your favorite humans to stand by your side as you marry your forever love. Yeah, I see you. And I’ve got wedding party gift ideas for you!
All of these items below are gender neutral so grab enough for everyone in your party and start asking your crew to join you in paradise:
Always, always start with a personalized, hand written note. There’s nothing better than your favorite people knowing just how much they mean to you.
Personalized toiletry/travel bag. Etsy is an awesome place to find personalized items but if you know someone with a vinyl cutting machine (like a Cricut) then it’s always worth an ask to see if you can buy some vinyl and have them cut it for you! You could even get see-through bags that will work as 3-1-1 bags so your crew can get through airport security in style.
Personalized tumbler. A lot of all-inclusive resorts will allow you to put your drinks in insulated cups you bring from home. These also can make great props for fun getting ready photos the morning of your wedding and everyone can use them to stay hydrated in the hot sun on the beach.
Personalized tote bag. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people forget beach bags at home when they’re vacationing! Even better? Your bridal party can use them as their personal items on the plane. If you’re all flying to your destination together everyone will know that your group is heading off to celebrate your love!
Passport cover. There are SO many cute passport covers on Etsy and Amazon!
Luggage tags. If you’re feeling extra festive, match your luggage tags and passport covers!
Sunglasses. Like the personalized tumblers, these can be used for photos… and they’re super useful in general (hello sunny beaches!).
Sunscreen and/or aloe gel. Who can’t use a little extra sunscreen and some aloe gel for after sun?! Grab the travel size bottles so they can pack them for your wedding!
Candles. Grab a beach scent or something that reminds you of your destination!
Something edible that is local to your destination. Get your wedding party excited about your destination by showing them how delicious your trip will be! Mexico is known for its tequila and tacos, Jamaica is known for it’s Blue Mountain Coffee and rum, Hawaii is known for its pineapples and shave ice, and Turks and Caicos is known for its Turk’s Head beer and blended rums. Find something you love to eat and drink while in your destination and share it with everyone!
