Is it legal to get married in Jamaica if you’re a United States citizen? Yes! It absolutely is – and it’s pretty dang easy to meet the requirements, too. Here’s the low down (as of last time I updated this post in early-summer 2021). Keep reading for the juicy details.
Blood tests prior to your wedding are NOT required in Jamaica – yay! Other countries do require one – lookin’ at you, Mexico! This makes it easy to be legally married in Jamaica so you don’t need to worry about getting married at your local courthouse before leaving for your celebration. Awesome!
