Here you’ll find stories I’ve shared of joyful weddings, adventurous travel tales, destination wedding planning tips, and women owning their beauty.
Sarah and Trevor have known each other since they were young, practicing archery with their families, going to classes together, and showing cattle. It’s fitting that after many years hanging out with each other’s family, as well as seven years of dating, that family was a big part of their wedding day. It was easy […]
Hello Mama! Welcome to the exciting and intimidating (but incredibly rewarding) world of Motherhood. I am the first to advocate for mothers. As a former labor and delivery nurse and current mother of two, I know first hand how a little pampering can go a long way—we deserve it! Giving yourself permission to step in […]
These two lovebirds have known each other since middle school, when each had a shy crush on the other. The sweetest couple ever, they were not about to let COVID stand in the way from saying I do. Brielle and Casey are so in love and were beyond grateful to gather at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran […]
With the statewide mask mandate, cutting down on guest lists, and potential cancelations or reschedules, weddings are not easy these days. Needless to say, we here at Sara June feel that tightness in our chests just as much you do. Despite these challenges, weddings are still happening (thank goodness!), and every bride and groom deserves their special day. Angela and Sam made the best of their COVID reschedule, turning their wedding day into a lively celebration to remember!
This beautiful waterfront wedding at beckets was an intimate day to remember. Abbey and Michal were so excited for their wedding and nothing – not even COVID – could stop them from saying, “I do!” We had a fun engagement session back in October, and I knew this sweet couple would be ready for anything.
Emily and Kristopher were married on a hot, sunny Saturday in July. They couldn’t have picked a more perfect location – The Howard– to tie their romantic day together. Emily works at The Howard in Oshkosh and not only loves the 1920’s feel, but also how grand the space feels (I couldn’t agree more!). Not only was the venue gorgeous, but the little touches the couple added made the day especially classy and beautiful.
If you’ve postponed your wedding because of COVID-19 (we feel your frustration, sadness, confusion, want to scream into a pillow type of emotions), there are still many reasons to celebrate and throw a smaller party with all the festive glitz and glam. Shifting to a smaller wedding allows you and your fiancé to tie the knot […]
The communication and connection with you and your photographer should click! When looking at their portfolio, perusing their website, pouring over their reviews, and then talking with the photographer in person or over the phone, it should click into place—your heart will tell you whether or not it is a good fit. Do your personalities clash or mesh? Do you feel this photographer is trustworthy? This is the team who will preserve your wedding memories, and those are once in a lifetime moments. There’s a lot of trust needed for that!
