Summer High Cliff Wedding | Sherwood, Wisconsin

Noah & Beth were married Memorial Day weekend on a gorgeous sunny Saturday. They said their vows to one another at High Cliff Golf and Event Center, with the bluffs of High Cliff State Park as the backdrop.

The ladies at Shades did a fantastic job on Beth and her bridesmaids’ hair and makeup. Afterward, they got ready in the bridal suite overlooking the golf course and waited anxiously for Beth and Noah’s wedding ceremony to start. The bride and groom chose not to see each other until she was walking toward him down the aisle with her dad (SUCH a sweet moment!). Plenty of cool wind from the lake balanced with lots of warm sunshine made their ceremony a comfortable way to witness their promises to each other – though, the event center provided water and lemonade for all guests, just in case.

After their ceremony, Beth and Noah’s guests were treated to a cocktail hour – thankfully the weather made it so nice to congregate outside. Afterward, everyone moved inside for a traditional Wisconsin reception dinner (and you can’t forget the cupcakes) topped off with lots and lots of dancing the night away!

Meanwhile, since these two lovebirds met while playing pool, we made sure to stop at Jeanne’s Bar & Grill for a few portraits of them playing pool. And, Beth loves horses – she’s had hers since middle school – so we also made a quick stop at the stables where she boards her horse, Fidget, to include her in their special day, too. These personal touches really made the couple’s photos special to them and made it so enjoyable for us to capture their love in locations that are near and dear to them.
