A Unique And Historic Venue For A Magical Wedding
If you’ve been searching for an elegant and historic venue for your upcoming wedding, look no further than The Howard in beautiful Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Founded in 1927 originally as The Eagles Club, this picturesque building has been painstakingly renovated and given new life, by its new owners, two sisters in fact! Both are originally from Oshkosh and lovingly named it after their grandfather, Howard Curler.
Fun fact: The Howard was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places in February 2018.
With its ornate Grand Ballroom and breathtaking Grand Hall, there is certainly no shortage of historic detail. From oversized chandeliers and exposed wood beams, you can be sure that your wedding will wow and awe every guest in attendance. For you brides that want a little modern twist thrown in, fear not, they’ve got you covered for that too; dramatic up lit ceilings and some of the ‘sexiest’ bathrooms I’ve ever seen will appeal to any bride and groom searching for their perfect place.
Aside from the gorgeous inside of The Howard, its prime location near downtown AND Lake Winnebago make it a perfect location for additional photo opportunities. Think: amazing outdoor photos by the lake for a Summer wedding or fun urban pictures downtown during your amazing Winter wedding. So, if you’re still searching for that perfect place, and you want a classy upscale art-deco feel, in a stunning historic building, and want to blow your guests away?! Check out The Howard, you won’t be disappointed.
