Mike and Brittney got married at her family’s movie theater in Hartford, Wisconsin. The bride got ready in one theater, the groom in another. Their ceremony was held in a third theater with a stage and room for their guests to witness their handwritten vows to each other.
After their ceremony, they treated their guests to a cocktail hour in one wing of the theater (complete with lots and lots of popcorn!) followed by dinner and dancing in another wing.
Brittney thought of everything – their tables were named after the couple’s favorite movies, themed programs were handed out by Harry Potter inspired ushers, every guest had their own official personalized lanyard, the bridal party used fun movie-themed props for some group photos, hundreds of cupcakes and flavored brownies topped the dinner off, and their monogram was displayed on the wall during their reception.
One of the best tips I can give an engaged couple is to make your wedding reflect YOU. For this couple, that meant that their love for movies was the center of their wedding day. What’s one way you’re planning your wedding to reflect your love story?
