Last Tuesday, as part of Appleton’s Tuesdays Together group, I participated in a styled shoot at Givens Farm outside of Hortonville, Wisconsin. The overall theme of the evening was hygge (say it with me: hue-guh), a Danish concept that describes a feeling of coziness and enjoying those special little pleasures in life. Let’s just say it didn’t disappoint!
Sheryl of Summer Lane Designs and Emilee of Ooh Shiny Art Glass were instrumental in the planning and coordination of our evening. They made magic out of simple white dresses, beautiful simple greenery, and warm exposed wood. You’ll see below that Givens Farm was a perfect backdrop that complimented the entire experience.
